Are you kidding me?

I've already ripped two other people a new one on that ridiculous proposition, and I showed the work. Like half a dozen times. Do I really, really have to do it again?

The Bush tax cuts on those over $250,000 - the one's Obama is talking about right now - amount to an average of $70 billion a year over the next ten years. Those are Obama's numbers from last year, not mine. Feel free to plug that $70 billion a year into all the deficit projections over those ten years and get back to me. I'll start you out with this year, which has a deficit of around $1.4 trillion. Or maybe we could plug in this past March's monthly deficit of $189 billion, and apply that entire annual tax increase to just that month. How's that working so far?

Or hey, you can apply the average $370 billion a year over ten years that you would supposedly get by killing EVERYBODY'S Bush tax cuts, including the beloved middle-class. Note that the SMALLEST deficit projected in the next ten years by the CBO is $748 billion.

All of this, of course, is assuming the Democratic magical thinking that sucking trillions of dollars out of the private sector will have absolutely no economic effect on that sector.
