Actually, that's doesn't sound like a bad start, although I'd have to do a lot of reading to say for sure as well. I do know one thing, there is no strategy that I will take seriously that does not include raising taxes, particularly on the upper brackets. As one of Heinleins's benign fascist heroes used to love to proclaim "Everybody jumps, everybody fights."
I'm tired of hearing this excuse that new jobs come from cutting taxes for the rich. We have cut taxes for the rich. Where are the jobs? And no one has any right to tell anyone else to "get a job" unless they are ready to offer them one.
