On hold ("your call is important...")
Fox — (archived)

Yeah, yeah, yeah... I know RL's a real physicist, has done important work in his field, etc. For that reason, at least, I'm proud to have him around. When I said "just at the moment", I meant "in immediate reaction to what I just read" - that is, his "My view" post just above. I thought the amount of foam around his lips was a trifle excessive.

As to "sitting in judgement": I'm sitting here, and my judgement - that is, my capability to discriminate between modes of behavior by examining their probable outcome - tells me that I agree that ignoring Sam is better for the Board than napalming the poor bastard. I haven't actually done a body count yet, but my impression has been that more respondents on this thread favor the "ignore him" strategy.

There's two things I've learned since I began this thread:

[1] It ain't all that important to begin with;

[2] It's very easy to succumb to the same temptation, like I did with REB yesterday.

Then I found that ludicrous pile of crap "Johannes" left on the Space board, and on this thread, too. I hope RL nukes him! [BEG]
