I don't care whether the telescope or telescopse are in LEO, at L2, or on the Moon, or man tended, or disposable - it's a question of finding the most effective way of dealing with this hazard -
Now Dr. Mazanek and his team at Langley have taken a look at the problem, and think that man tended Moon based telescopes are the way to do it. Far be it for me to contest the conclusions of some the best engineers in the country - though I do think that the architecture I set out many years ago at
