“Do you agree that the Pledge of Allegiance is an unconstitutional endorsement of religion?”
Answer “Yes” or “No”.
The issue is whether the words “under God” are an unconstitutional endorsement of religion. We had a pledge long, long before those words were added.
Sort of a “Do you think the baby should be thrown out with the bathwater” sort of thing.
