Because you sure sound like him, and I've had my doubts about you since you started postin.
"perspective' is wimpy name, it's not a moniker, but some soothing words that sound like they are coming from a right-wing think tank or someone who collects his paychecks from the DOD.

This is something he would say.
And it is blatantly false.
WE (aka the US) have trained SOME of those radical fighters, here on US soil, and with US money.
We have armed them to rout out the politicians or the dictators or military opponents of the moment. WE have helped create THEM.
Yet nobody cares to even address this.

WHY do they hate us so much?
Perhaps because we've used them, and left them in the lurch when we're finished with them.
Do they not smell American Imperialism and our corporate globalism by the ideas we keep (and the people we use to promote them?)
