Civilian deaths...
Judging by the posts here, the "Terror Taxi" ploy is working like a PR charm for Iraq.
The Iraqi regime established, on television, and in so many words, that they were going to use bombs in vehicles as a tactic of choice.
Almost immediately afterwards, a civilian vehicle, by some amazingly bad luck filled with women and children, is, not surprisingly, a victim of this.
Watching the news, I have heard a number of other vehicles--found later to have been unarmed--have been attacked after trying to punch through various checkpoints.
Coincidence? Maybe. I'm keeping an eye on this new trend.
