Oh, really?
Don't recall reading in the history books about the general population of Japan pleading for Americans to come in and free them from the Emperor by dropping nukes on them. The population of Germany...the ones who were the right race...were doing just fine, thanks, before the war started.
In fact, I have a hard time remembering ANY large oppressed group of people who begged openly for some military to come in and tear the place down around their ears, bomb the hell out of their oppressors, and set them free.
