"going into Iraq had NOTHING to do with my freedom or my right to free speech"

I think that it did have something to do with those things. Raising the phony spectre of terrorism to a degree that a majority of Americans approved of the "war" (slaughter) in Iraq allowed the govt to infringe on your collective freedoms to a significant degree.
