The Fundamental Questions
There are few words that get abused more than the word "fair." The definition tends to float all over the place, but it usually means somebody wants something somebody else has, and questions of earning it vs. stealing it, inequality of opportunity vs. inequalitity of results, etc. rarely get addressed.
Would recommend starting a new thread if you really want, but I'm a libertarian/objectivist on these things, which may answer a lot of questions you might have.
