<Please tell me what you think are just pay scales for CEOs in terms of multiples of average workers pay. Please tell me what you think is a fair way to determine how much other executives earn. Does it match what they are getting paid? If not, why do you think they are getting paid enough to staff whole factories.
The answer to that, unless I am a stockholder, employee, or otherwise part of the company, is that it's none of my goddam business. To a socialist (not referring to you here), who feels that all such things must be "controlled" somehow, "none of my business" does not compute.
What is a fair way for the rest of us on this board to determine what YOU earn?
Certainly companies that overpay executives when resources are strained, or the executive isn't performing, sometimes end up with trouble. However, sometimes what an executive does for a company is worth millions of dollars. It's not up to the government to decide.
