A lot of Iraqis did greet our troops with flowers or the equivalent. Pictures are available on the web, but not easy to find. The media did not normally favor such photos.
Again, it should not be forgotten that out of a nation of twenty million people, a vast majority is at least tolerant of our presence, and a lot of them are glad we are there.
