Barry wrote: It is the Mars Society that exists to sell Zubrin's books.
Chris writes: Exactly how does that work Barry? The Mars Society has a online bookstore go look with many authors books.
At no convention held by the Mars Society has Zubrin had anymore than one table, one cash box and one credit card machine to process sales. Your claims of 2000 convention are lies! I talked to all kinds of people about this since you brought it up and non even remember seeing unattended boxes of Zubrins books at any doors anywhere!
The last convention in Eugene had these two spending there time at the Mars Society table selling books...see just tons of Zubrins books don't we...Greg Bear and Bill Hartmann had as many of there books on sale as Zubrin...Meghann and Sarah sold more hats and patches than anything else...
Here is Bill Hartmann waiting to sign books at the table...
And here is the SF writers panel...if your tring to sell your book do you stack the deck against yourself?
All of Zubrin's books can be found in the same Libraries. The only difference is the science fiction one is in with SF where yours should be!
And here is a pic of me and my buddies from Puget Sound..I have my arms crossed...
