Hi All
My PC turned into a billboard as well and Adaware didn't pick it up at that time. Funny thing is, I downloaded Boombox but didn't (and don't) have it installed yet, and now it won't be of course.
First I emptied the windows configsys folder; today I deleted it. With the latest reference file of Adaware the program found possible browser hijack attempts in my favorites (where I didn't put those urls of course)
When at first I emptied out the configsys folder it kept quiet for a day, but today whilst doing something else and having no browser open I got invited to enroll in a Ifriends thingy. So now I deleted the folder.
Boombox may still be related just by downloading it because it is too great of a coincidence.
Still don't understand how it is possible with the Boombox file sitting uninstalled somewhere.
Bye
