yeah, too bad

• Too bad we blew all our political capital by pursuing the Iraq matter.
• Too bad we destroyed all our international good faith and cerdibility by hyping a threat that did not exist to prosecute an unnecessary war for false claims of 'pre-emptive self defense'.
• Too bad we ally ourselves with illegetimate dictators who took power by force, otherwise we might have credibility when we talk about the danger of Ayatollahs and other tyrants
• Too bad we ally ourselves with (and do not prosecute) a real, documented and provable proliferator of nuclear weapons technology, missile technology and components (pakistan)
• Too bad for all of this, becase if it had been done differently,

a normal person might think

That we would have the position to do something effective about the real threat posed by Iran....
