Probably airbags for the meteorological setup and not sure on the seismometers setup...

Something like NetLander package is what I was think of. I'm not sure the seismometer would survive the impacts and be useful.

That brings me to a question: Was NetLander planning to use the same EDL setup as Beagle 2?
