<blockquote)And on a different note, prizes would make corrupt peer review panels obsolete. That and the fear of competition somehow justify your defensive tantrums against prizes advocates, at least in your insecure mind.
If a worthless little nobody like you is going to DARE call me corrupt you damn well better have proof- Do you have any proof, you stupid piece of shit? Some of us actually advance our science and technology- others, like you, only have the skills required to whine and make uneducated criticisms... You are a pissant wannabe...
The NSF gave my employer money for us to divide up among outside research projects... we got none of the money for our own use, we made a public announcement that we were looking to fund research to advance a certain technology, we got a dozen proposals and we VERY impartially evaluated the proposals and chose 2-3 that we felt would do the most to advance the technology, neither the reviewers (myself included) or our organizations actually recieved any money- The NSF (wisely) felt that decisions about that proposals should get funded were best made by the experts in the field... HOW the hell would 'prizes' be at all applicable in this situation...
I know that you resent that you arent an expert in anything, but some of us are- and it often makes sense to have the experts decide what research deserves funding- The fact that you dont see this just shows how little you understand your subject...
Funny thing is I was never against prizes, you worthless little turd, I was just against your stupidity and slander- Be assured from now on I am going to make it a point to ride your ass on every stupid post you put here in attempts to spam us and hijack our legitimate threads... You were already on thin ice here kiddo, I will make it a point to melt what little you have left...
