I suspect Rumsfield will investigate the soldier's charges and use it as an opportunity to rattle the chain of command.

If the soldier is telling the truth, my guess is that Rumsfield will recommend him for a promotion.

If he's lying...Well why would he lie...But anyway, he'll probably be transfered to some mundain job in supply (where he can personally oversee the armour shipments, installation, and experience the headaches of supply chain management first hand).

P.S. I think the whole thing is being blown out of proportion by the media, but Rumsfield is a big kid...he can take it.
