Most everything has it's place, like a hornet's nest or a stinging ant hill pile. It lives, it grows, it has it's queen.
If you leave it alone, you will never scatter the ants or hornets, but you can watch them and keep them contained.
To go in swinging, like George Bush did, taking a baseball bat and just stirring them up and making them mad, was pure ignorance, and poor planning. The solution should be an international solution.
There were no WMD, and his bait and switch to hide his incompetence by "bringing them democracy", (which was nothing more than a dream of securing the Middle East.....mental masturbation from a neocon think tank aka PNAC), has been a costly DISASTER, not only in lives, but in the hundreds of billions of dollars.
The solution? Don't support an idiot from Day 1 because you've got a hard-on for revenge. Don't vote for him again. Think for yourself.

Then I'd start counting the "insurgents", knowing full well weapons for the insurgency would be coming in from all of the states, the Canadian and Mexican borders.
