We've been listening to the drumbeat here for some time.

For quite a while, the target was The Media. The Left-Wing Media. That will no longer wash. If there were really a Left-Wing Media, the Swift Boat People would not have gotten the play they did. So this line will be quietly dropped. No one on the Right will as much as admit that the media is not Left-wing, so they can return and beat their breasts should someone dare to criticize George the Second, but it's a battle that's been won.

Criticism of the academy has been only an undercurrent up to this point. It will now be rachetted up to the level seen for the media over the last ten years or so. Look for it. The most egregious and extremist opinions will be put up, falsely, as examples of the average. The aim: to silence not only dissent, but the mechanism by which it can be promulgated.
