Yeah, I bet 10-1 the guy was an economist
I am one of the few people who will defend Economists in general as reputable scientists, but even I have to admit they come up with some wacky analysies. That argument saounds like an economists argument for sure. I think I'll end up buying the book and reading it just to see if the guy has a point.
Also, his analysis of using coal to power lasers for surgery as 'waste', so that he can say 'waste is a virtue' was a very odd use of the english language.
