Seriously, though, peak Thorium mining is probably a few decades off (thorium reactor tech is not very well developed from what I gather), and that all gambles on us going the Nuke route, which I don't know if we will.
My day dream is that MagConfinment fusion will mature and make energy so cheap and low-impact that it brings a new age of equality to the world.
