About uranium- If we have a good breeder cycle, and more importantly, if we expand into Thorium reactor tech, which is 3 times more plentiful than Uranium, we could probably hold out for 50 years past the end of oil. By then we should either have super-conductors, and/or space-based solar and/or fusion. Also, by that time, the problem will become raw *heat* pollution, if you follow the consumption curves!
