The projections that I have seen are a little higher, say $100 per barrel
but you have the essence correct. Plant biomass, converted into oil by a process now undergoing pilot plant testing, could substitute for petroleum in our existing refineries. There is plenty of biomass just rotting and generating methane on the forest floor.
