Phooey. That is the old "argument from ignorance". Sea Solar Power offers far more power far less expensively than nuclear power, with no risk of catastrophic failure or nuclear proliferation whatsoever.
Even the most optimistic proponents of nuclear power say that it would only last for a few hundred years, and that would require the breeder. For non-breeder technology, the period during which known uranium deposits would last is less than a century.
In other words, nuclear power is not a long-term option.
Meanwhile, Sea Solar Power can produce power at 300 times mankind's TOTAL power use, including fossil fuel use, and can produce it for the next four billion years without pollution, without hazard.
Now, of course, you are going to tell me that it can't possibly work, will be too expensive, .... and all the rest. To which I answer, "Nonsense!" I have been involved in Sea Solar Power for the past 30 years, and I know differently. The hard part was getting funding, which we finally have. Our first plant is going up in Guam this year. After number 1, the sky is the limit.
