TS has no function in 80% of her brain. She has no function in her Cortex. TS had 7 continuous years of treatment to no avail, 7 years of examinations that indicated, all of them, that she was in PVS, would not recover, was cortically dead.
TS is in a PVS, a post-coma state where the brain-stem reacts to stimulus. Blow on her face and her face muscles will contract and it will look like she is smiling. Make a loud noise, and she will writhe. Occassionally she will moan. All of these functions require nothing more than a state of cortical death inducing a PVS.
Just because TS does NOT fit the Made-For-TV-Movie myth of a brain-dead comatose patient DOES NOT mean that she isn't in a classic and textbook PVS.
TS is dead. You are fishing for an inflammatory issue.
