GEOFF: "Surely in country such as Cuba which ruled by a braindead leader, surely they care for those with brain disablities far better than American."
MY REPLY: Point taken. And Mr. Castro stands as a living testimony to all that's wrong with requiring the brain dead to stay alive against their wishes.
GEOFF: "And if for no other reason, it would be far cheaper and easier caring for Terri than all these lawsuits."
MY REPLY: Keep in mind that the only ones filing lawsuits are the parents and they've lost every single one in both state and federal courts, but they keep filing them. Also keep in mind that Michael Schiavo's fight to defend his wife's wishes not to be kept alive in this condition has been costly for him as well. Perhaps that says something noble about his motives that you've failed to recognize.
