re: So...

"...using your logic, the members of the 11th Circuit and U.S. Supreme Court are "nazis." "

My "logic" is that I found an article by Joe Ford, a disabled person, to be interesting. As far as me thinking Supreme Court are nazis. The Supreme Court does seem to lack interest in this issue in regards to Terri's Federal civil rights. Perhaps the Supreme Court is more like the germany citizens living near the death camps, who said that they were unaware of what was actually happenning at these camps.

"Geoff, Terri Schiavo isn't "severely disabled." She doesn't exist any more. She has no mind. She cannot think. She has no memories. She cannot speak. She is aware of nothing. 85% of her brain is just a dark gooey liquid of spinal fluid. All that's left is her brainstem that runs the organs and reflex actions."

I get your point. You think Terri has been throughly examed by the best and brightest. That a Cat scan is state of the art. And because of this examination doctors can know all that is needed to be known in order to decide what kind of state that Terri is in. In a science that [I believe, still] applies electroshock as a therapy, and that will use surgery to cut out half the brain as a part of a therapy. This brain science is has so far advanced that it's more predictive than compared to other types of medicine involving limbs or other organs.

"All of this inflamatory rhetoric takes us nowhere, Geoff. Its propaganda designed to raise passions among the ignorant who aren't particularly well-informed."

So, you think the article I linked was propaganda?
You are certainly a wonder, Donald.

"The removal of life support from Terri Schiavo isn't at all about how we treat severely disabled people in this country. In fact, I'd suggest that we here in American care for our severely disabled far better than any other nation in the world."

Even Cuba????
Surely in country such as Cuba which ruled by a braindead leader, surely they care for those with brain disablities far better than American.
And if for no other reason, it would be far cheaper and easier caring for Terri than all these lawsuits.
