The UN is badly overdue for reform but even mentioning this annoys the chattering class. Tough love is due. My personal position would be to phase out our paycheck to the UN and form a new international body of democracies. This would have to wait until a new administration because of the current irrational obstruction of anything Bush by Old Europe.
