We have the right to question judges...We in fact have the DUTY to review the work of judges...They are human and make mistakes...They too are subject to partisanship no matter how much they attempt to be above the political frey...And they to are subject to the law...
And anyway, it is the Democrats who routinely treat judges that they disagree dislike with complete contempt: How often have you heard Clarence Thomas referred to as an idiot, pawn of the Right Wing, or some such claptrap...I've even heard him publicly referred to as an Uncle Tom: A blatant appeal to the worst racist tendencies that exist in society. Can you imagine how many unbalance individuals have been moved to make threats against him because of this???
Don't preach to me about treating judges with respect when you yourself are dragging them through the mud. (Aimed more at Democrats than you personally).
I realize that we disagree on Bolton and judges...But can you honestly say that ANYBODY Bush appoints from here on out in his Presidency won't be attacked viciously by that wonderful institution of "Statesmanship", the US Senate? The Senate is a joke right now. McCain and his cohorts are making complete fools of themselves like never before. The "institution" isn't sick or dying...Its lying on its back and rigamortus has set in.
And Yes, I know there are partisan hacks on both sides.
