Bolton

You know, it's interesting to see how many sides people come down on as long as its the opposite side of Bush. We went through a period of sneers at Bush for "sucking up" to Saudi Arabia with its bad human rights record. Instead of what? Being "undiplomatic?"

Now Bolton is going to go in front of a bunch of grubbing collectivists in that chamber, probably a good percentage of which bribed their way to their position, and hurt their feelings? We have to tread lightly with an organization that puts slaveholding countries on their human rights commissions?*

They don't care who our U.N. ambassador is as long as he comes in on his knees with the wallet open. Democrats don't care who it is as long as its someone Bush doesn't want.

Clinton won both of his elections with LESS than 50 percent of the votes cast. By this new theory of "fairness," maybe he shouldn't have been allowed to pick ANYONE.

*Besides Sudan, current members of the "Human Rights" Commission include Cuba, China, Saudi Arabia (go figure), and Zimbabwe.
