But you DO consider yourself to be well enough equiped to spit fire at anyone who dares to question it. You cant have it both ways. You either know enough to make a valid judgement on the benefits of this scheme and can thus explain and defend it. Or you do not. If this scheme is the ONLY way to do it - why do astronomers states that the moon is a bad place ( which it is ) for astronomy?
Incidentally, you've suggested that the public will never allow large nuclear power sources to be launched into space for a Mars mission.
Pray tell, how do you intend to generate the enormous amounts of power you will require on the moon?
