"getting to Mars" and "working on Mars" are different tasks

and they are both different than "working on the Moon", which in my opinion is all that the general public might be willing to pay for, if it is done to build CAPS

Russian aerospace engineers who years ago looked very closely at using nuclear power to get to Mars came to the conclusion that it made more economic sense to use solar power, because the system did not become radioactive and have to be discarded, disposed of, and replaced.

Dr. Aldrin is an aerospace engineer, and he looked closely at the best orbits to use to get to Mars, and he identified what he called cycler orbits.

That was their work, not mine, just as "Mars Direct" is Bob Zubrin's work, not "yours". You my think "Mars Direct" is the best way to go to Mars, but I don't.
