Mr. Bush has proposed a program that would match up employers who need to fill jobs no American will take with foreign workers

This is part of the load that is dumped by those pushing for "guest worker" programs which siphon US money out of the country and are really nothing more than foreign aid for Mexico in disguise.

What jobs won't an American take? Cleaning toilets? Field labor? Our nation was built on field labor!

Does being Mexican make you specially suited to clean toilets and work in fields? Isn't this really just institutionalizing racism?

If by default Mexicans take jobs Americans wont do, then they are automatically made into nothing more than menial labor slaves - a body devoid of mind an intellect.

There is no such thing as a job no American will take. Mexicans come over illegally for work and are paid substandard wages. Let's not insult the intelligence of the nation by pretending they are filling jobs Americans won't do. It's cheap labor. Companies hire illegals to save a buck.

Exploitation of Mexicans is abhorrent. Sure, the huddled Mexican poor view America as salvation and any money is better than the perpetually corrupt Mexican government and its non-productive economy.

If Bush wants to take a longterm view of immigration reform, it's not done by stealing American jobs, siphoning money out of our economy propping up dysfunctional Mexico while instituting a new "legal" form of low-wage slavery.

It's preposterous. If 1,000,000 Russians were coming into the US every month, would we set up a guest worker program for them?

Of course not! We'd have a talk with Putin and tell him that he better get his act together or relations would soon take a drastic turn for the worse.

The Mexican government is telling their people to enter the US illegally--as if they are entitled to American jobs! What's more we invite them when we churn out this type of ridiculous rhetoric, excusing their illegal entry into our country.

Mexico, is setting itself up for a takeover. It's waging war against the US--make no doubt about that. They exploit our lenient granting of citizenship to all those born in the country--even to those who have made illegal entry. Their government badly needs reform. Mexico, at this time, produces nothing except bodies and massive human suffering.

Forget worker programs. It's time to get tough with Mexico.

If they don't work on their own economy and stop encouraging illegal entry into our country then we will annex it and make it the 51st state. We're not going to support higher crime, illiteracy and the destruction our economy indefinitely just to subsidize Mexico.
