Man I live in the LA area.
I'm familiar with places where English is the second language. Heck, I work in one where Hindi is more common. And live in a town that has over 1/3 Armenian population (and growing). And am really close to communities that speak primarily Japanese, Chinese, and Korean. And yes, Spanish too.
Man, you should take a trip to London someday, and wander off the beaten path a bit.
