re: Belief - or fear?

Your post deserves a much more decent post than I can give right now; but I was raised Catholic, and I can see where you're coming from. I was fortunate enough to have a very special experience around the age of 7 or 8 that changed my world. I had another one at age 25 and have integrated the "religiosity" of them both, that makes me the caring person I am today. Central to getting to this place was the conquering of ALL fear, through the practise of love and assurance that all things are in order for the greater good. There are cycles........ and we ride them through our lives. We need to learn to be better riders, and pay more attention to the horse.........;~)

I don't buy into ANY religion. Especially the ones that are fear based for control. YOU are your own God! There is a way to test your faith by living it. Pretty heady stuff to discuss right now, but as I said I have dealt with a very stressful issue this past weekend, and have just lost the love and companionship of an 18 yr. old pet.

My thoughts will be around later, although I head tomorrow to Ft. Lauderdale for 3 days for the King Tut exhibit and to meet with Egyptologists. Don't know if I'll have access to wireless or not.
