I know, you are probably wondering how murdering someone could be the same as stealing from them. I struggled with this concept as well. I still think some sins are worse than others. Raping someone is worse than stealing from them, IMO. But I am not God.
Think about this, in God’s eyes, death is nothing. It is just a transition from our realm to his. In his eyes, you never die, you never cease to exist, you just change forms. You never really die.

I don’t know. Perhaps they are given a second chance. Perhaps they just cease to exist as believe what will happen to them. That is between them and God.
