Art "REB, the whole story you told about your wife's grandmother visiting you and doing little pranks around the house is a compelling one but how did you make the transition from there might be a spirit that lingers after we die to giving credibility to the whole Jesus thing?"

Good question Art. I think it is several factors. For one thing, I was raised a Christian. For another, my Grandmother was a strong Christian. In the 1950’s she visited the Middle East and taught Sunday School there.

Then there was the stuffed toy lamb that we heard being wound up and then it started playing “Jesus Love Me.” (To RL- This was nothing like rolling over onto your remote. This is a spring powered toy that must be wound up by hand. It did not wind itself up. It had never done this before or after. My 2-year old son was asleep in his crib he had never climbed out of.)

And then there are the accounts told by my son, back when he was 2 and even now. He described her as an angle. He says she still comes to him in his dreams as an angle.

I used to think the whole angle image was a metaphor not to be taken literally. But perhaps it is literal. Perhaps when we cross over from this universe to God’s universe (Domain, Realm, Dimension, or whatever you want to call it) he recreates our bodies with the matter that exists in his Universe. And when he does this, maybe he gives us this angle form.

Our physical universe is bound by scientific physical laws that have limits. Outside our universe with these physical laws that govern our matter, anything is possible.

The problem many of us scientist (Be it armature or professional) have is we get stuck inside our Physical Universe and we can’t think outside its physical limits and boundaries. The whole possibility that there could be more than we can detect and measure is beyond the comprehension of many. It was for me, until this experience forced me to see outside this box.

I don’t get angry at you , RL or any others that are skeptical. I used to be just like you skeptics. I still am somewhat skeptical when I hear others tell their ‘ghost’ stories, but I am open minded about it now.
