Your "tarred and feathered" reference, it seemed to me, could result from two different issues:

1) Confusion about what the rules of the HZ are, concerning the definition of "flame" and the presence of "flame" in non-flame boards, or

2) A reaction to non-flame disagreement with something you said.

I addressed the simpler #1 and left it open for you to clarify. I did so because #1 is not only simpler, but less provocative and easier to handle in a friendly manner (which is what I thought I did).

If your threatening (???!!!???) response is taken (may I?) as implying that #2 is more the case, then my advice is a good deal less friendly: buck up, guy! If you can't stand being disagreed with, strongly or otherwise, then go away.

I also note that you have a pattern of attempting to forestall people's responses to your posts with threats or with implications that a particular type of response will be met with scorn. You have done it to me twice now. There are no rules against it, but you should know that it is an unfriendly tactic, in itself.
