I stand in awe

of your bottomless well of Silly Statements™.

It's really the world you have issues with. Today's republican party is a reflection of today's new realities.

Oh right Techie, sure. You know, you can't make Social Darwinism rise above its fundamental cluelessness no matter how you try to disguise it. Right, Republicanism is required by the laws of nature, and merely arises spontaneously as a passive response to the environment. [snort] Save it for the Windsors and the Rockefellers and the Bushes.

So if "9/11 Changed Everything", if NeoRepublicanism is merely a response to "new realities", why did the movement start years prior to 9/11? What was Newt's "Republican Revolution" all about, then? Where did the thinktank network come from, and where did the estimated $billion in private funding from a few Republican fat cats go? You mean the NeoRepublicans took all that money and only pretended to be building a new Party machine? Fact is, it was the NeoRepublicans' dissatisfaction with reality that led them to the desperate measures they're taking today. Fact is, the reality of American politics has always prevented radicals from achieving longterm power...up to now...and the NeoRepublican strategy is to attack the safeguards against radicalism in our system to try and change the reality of American politics to one more favorable to RightWing radicals.

Nope, I'm just trying to restore the system that's worked so well for so long, and which reasonably ought to serve us well into the future. So which of us is the radical, me or the NeoRepublicans?
