Let's see you justified 'likening' Bush and neo-conservatives to Nazis as a 'warning' even though their actions are in no way comparable because "Hitler wasn't always Hitler".
Actually Hitler was always Hitler.
You're justifying namecalling as a 'precautionary' tactic but you know full well that likening Bush to Hitler is merely going to enflame the worst form of fear and hatred.
You don't scream "Look Fire!" in a crowded building and justify it by saying "Well fire isn't always fire" or "there may soon be a fire here" and walk away with pandemonium in your wake.
Your disingenuous replies to the matter and claiming I'm obscuring the issue are nice Robert Post-Fillers™.
The issue is simple. Bowser called this Nazi Germany because a political student action group is paying $100 to kids to record activist teachers lectures.
Comparing this to Nazi behavior is preposterous. Saying that this news item shows the US is on its way to Nazi-dom is even more ridiculous.
You went along with Bowser because it felt right - and demonizing the Bush administration always seems like the right thing to do even though it has absolutely nothing to do with Bush.
You certainly didn't agree because you were using your head.
Well, at least I hope you weren't.
