One reads Bush's post and then looks at Jack's and then Robert's and one sees the link.
You may think of Bush as a Dodo, but others take the Bush=Hitler meme a bit more seriously and are (too put it mildly) obsessed with bringing down the Bush administration. Bowser is a mild case compared to others who go frothing at the mouth daily, spend all their free time protesting and have put all their life's (and the world's) problems at the feet of George Bush and conservatives and tell themselves by getting rid of these folks, their problems will go away as well.
They're destined for an unhappy ending.
The Bush=Hitler theme justifies their hatred and dealing in hyperbole is modus operandi.
To compare the USA of today to Germany under the Nazis is hyperbole of the hateful kind. That its done by the same folks who equate a human being with a chimpanzee, and spend hours digging up photos trying to find similarities comes as little surprise.
It's bad enough when the left fringe adopt the Bush=Hitler meme, but when the mainstream left start humming Deutschland uber Alles it's a bit disconcerting.
Why?
Because then the fringes move further out and just like the Muslims protesting cartoons, violence soon erupts.
The worst part is that the left become exactly what they claim to despise: demagogues talking about evil in others.
How many times do we hear that there is no Axis of Evil from the left? How many times do we hear that calling folks evil make them live up to these expectations?
How is it none of these moral principles and stardards apply when it the left smearing the right?
Unfortunately, when one wants to believe Bush is like Hitler and believe that some neo conservative cabal rules the world, which delights in torture and wants to jail innocent Americans forever and throw away the key it's easy to justify such unjust namecalling isn't it?
Heck, maybe I'm wrong! Bush may be Hitler! Jack's provided compelling proof!
To whit:
It's time to burn him in effigy with a Hitler mustache painted on.
;-)
