"Iif we had followed liberal-recommended foreign policy in this hemisphere in the 70s and 80s, most of Central and South America would have been little Soviet suburbs years ago"
Hmmmm.........the right wingers in this country and our foreiegn "policy" has (in the last 50 years) overthrown democratically elected governments in Guatemala and Chile, invaded the sovereign states of the Dominican Republic, Grenada and Panama, organized and funded the unsuccessful invasion of Cuba; supported brutal militaries allied with right-wing death squads in El Salvador, Guatemala and Argentina; and orchestrated a near decade-long war against Nicaragua.
I mean, what's not to love about us??
