Yes, we have, but Bush squandered ALL of our "goodwill".
You can still carry the banner, but please don't ignore the ills we've brought on others. Let alone the country.
You remind me of the guy who won't fault the rapist down the street because he used to lead the church in choir every Sunday (and like Jack Abramoff) donated a lot of his monies to Republican charity.

America WAS great when she was moral. Unfortunately we can no longer claim ourselves superior after this Iraq debacle with Bush and Rumsfeld. The fact you won't admit we were wrong EVER, is a minor oversight in your thinking. The power of the Presidency and just a FEW men, have taken us further into this hole, from which...I wonder if we'll ever recover.

We have nowhere to go except to keep pedaling our arrogance until China and Russia both stand up to us. Financially we should be in the toilet within a few years, owing our souls and country to China.
