You're making my point better than I could. And leftism/Marxism is appealing to a lot of people for much the same reason that religions are: The belief that you can make good things happen by magic, that somehow you can make a nation prosperous by destroying wealth and enslaving the productive, and that capitalist scapegoats are the reason that collectivist societies wallow in poverty.
And you, on the other hand, rationally assert that nothing that America has ever done could possibly result in us being hated by anybody, anywhere.
I never said that anywhere. It's your side that seems to be asserting the absolute.
However, It is perfectly true that we've done more good on this planet than any other nation in history.
The fact that some people's brains boil into vapor on simply reading the preceding sentence is just another symptom of the problem.
