Bagels

We've got a bagel place near here that still boils them up first, and a bagel right out of the oven is something you'd crawl across broken glass for. But again, if you let one sit for a few days, it would be hard enough to stop a neutrino in its tracks. I wonder if that's true for all good bread.

We could open a whole new thread on Pratchett's "dwarf bread."
