Its really quite simple...

Donald — 7/25/2006 1:29:35 AM (archived)

...we have an incompetent idiot in the White House.

Kerry's message is pretty simple, Tom, but I'm not surprised you couldn't figure it out.

Simply put, our disasterous invasion of Iraq, justified by mythical weapons of mass destruction, has made us incapable of keeping other wars in the Middle East from breaking out. We have no substantive diplomatic influence left. Countries like Iran and Syria can act with impunity - they know we are preoccupied. Meanwhile, the southern portion of Iraq is now more closely aligned with Iran than ever before.

The bottom line is this, Tom, things are far worse now in the Middle East than they were when George Bush first took office. Far worse.
