Hezbollah holds ten percent of the seats in the Lebanese government.

How do you think that works out?

The U.S. has been sending half a billion dollars a year in aid to Lebanon. What has it bought us?

Israel withdrew from Lebanon six years ago, and GAVE them time to comply with the U.N. The U.N. has been sitting in Lebanon wanking away for decades.

Hezbollah used the time since the 2000 withdrawal as you have seen, to arm, fortify, and build terrorist headquarters in city centers. Give Hezbollah another ten years, and do you think they're just going to fade away?

There are ways to encourage outcome #2

Name one. Specifics, for a change.

Why can't liberals admit that they're utterly helpless in the face of true hostility? Pretty much everything I've seen to date on this issue involves either doing the same damn thing that has failed a hundred times over, or assume a fetal position and hope it all goes away. But for God's sake, don't actually do anything violent.

"Wage Peace" looks good on a sign, but as a policy, it's meaningless.
