Not sure how much clearer I can make it. One possible exception: The Wall actually did reduce violence, but the usual gangs of idiots were hard over against that one.

I don't have a perfect solution. I do know that trying the same damn thing over and over again with zero results isn't a solution. It's a definition of insanity. Witness President after President, Republican and Democrat, trying to negotiate with Arafat.

We can also see that giving up territory doesn't buy lasting peace with the terrorists either, although it has had some success with Arab governments.

I also know that just turning around and hoping that the Hezbolla militarization of South Lebanon would Just Go Away wasn't going to work either. You think the rockets launched after the Israeli invasion were the first ones? This military action was inevitable, sooner or later.

Israel has had a pretty good track record with military action over its history. I hope they win this one, too.
