Try and think it through.

Kerry says we have to "destroy Hezbollah."

How? Don't ask.

Imagine we aren't in Iraq. Or even Afghanistan.

What's the answer then? Have the U.S. invade Lebanon, with another enemy integrated into the civilian population? How's that going to look in a year or so?

I can't get over the number of people who complain that being tied up in Iraq is keeping us from attacking all the other places we should be attacking.

Just standing around making baseless threats and rattling sabers doesn't work. It didn't work in Iraq, it hasn't worked on the Middle East for fifty years, and won't suddenly start working if Kerry started doing it.

Face it, Kerry and the Democrats have got nothing to deal with these threats to world peace, and they hope that if they bloviate hard enough, nobody will notice.

And yes, I'm sure the situation in Lebanon and the Middle East would be much better and more peaceful today if Saddam Hussein still ruled Iraq and paid Palestinian terrorists. And the Middle East in general? Care to go back and go over what happened there during the 90s? Look up when the Intifada started, or how well the Oslo Accords worked out.

Real peace is more than an absence of noise or conflict. A lot of liberals think Iraq was better off under tyranny because it was quieter there.
